SHADOWFALL adalah sebuah band heavy metal dari Springfield, Massachusetts, Amerika Serikat, dibentuk pada tahun 1995. Mereka adalah salah satu dari beberapa band yang mengambil lirik dari pengaruh filsafat Timur.Line-up Shadows Fall terdiri dari Brian Fair (vokal), Jonathan Donais (lead guitar), Matt Bachand (gitar), Paul Romanko (bass), dan Jason Bittner (drum).

Sejak pembentukannya, Shadows Fall telah merilis lima studio album, dua album kompilasi, dan satu DVD. Album pertama mereka menampilkan Philip Labonte pada vokal, kemudian ia segera digantikan oleh Fair. Dua studio album shadowfall, pemain drum dipegang oleh David Germain (bukan personel tetap), tetapi pada tahun 2002 Bittner (drummer) bergabung dengan shadowfall sepenuhnya. Pada bulan Februari 2008, band ini masuk nominasi Grammy Award dalam kategori Best Metal Performance untuk lagu "Redemption" dari album “Threads of Life”.
