DISCOGRAPHY

AEROSMITH adalah kelompok musik rock terkenal dari Amerika Serikat. Walaupun mereka dibentuk di Boston, Massachusetts, tidak ada anggotanya yang berasal dari sana. Tiga anggotanya, Steven Tallarico (Tyler), Joe Perry, dan Tom Hamilton bertemu di Sunapee, New Hampshire di akhir 1960-an namun belum membentuk sebuah band. Tyler berasal dari Yonkers, New York, Perry dari Hopedale, Massachusetts, dan Hamilton dari New London, New Hampshire. Pada 1970, ketiganya memutuskan untuk membentuk band, dan pindah ke Boston, Massachusetts.

Joe Perry dan Tom Hamilton pindah ke Boston pada September 1970. Di sana mereka bertemu dengan Joey Kramer, yang kebetulan berasal dari Yonkers, New York, dan kenal dengan Steven Tallarico (kemudian menjadi Tyler). Setelah itu mereka mendengar Perry dan Hamilton bermain dan Kramer setuju untuk bergabung. Steven Tyler kemudian datang ke Boston pada Oktober 1970 dan Aerosmith dilahirkan. Mulanya Ray Tabano bermain rhythm gitar namun ia digantikan pada 1971 oleh Brad Whitford dari Reading, Massachusetts. Selain periode dari Juli 1979 sampai April 1984, inilah formasi tetap Aerosmith.
