APOCALYPTICA adalah sebuah group band metal dari Helsinki, Finlandia, yang dibentuk pada tahun 1993. Band ini terdiri dari pemain cello klasik yang terlatih dan seorang drummer sejak 2003. Tiga dari pemain cello adalah lulusan dari Akademi Sibelius di Helsinki, Finlandia. Fitur musik mereka dari unsur-unsur musik klasik dan neo-klasik metal ke symphonic metal dan gothic metal. Mereka telah menjual lebih dari tiga juta album.
